The Diagonalt Adventure 2019 took 16 days, 3 hours, 17 minutes. We drove through 9 countries and did 7.332 km on the road, around 315 km by the ferry and 50 km by the train. We’ve visited many fantastic places, but there were some crappy ones too. But the most exciting part of this journey was making new, wonderful friends!!!

Just like last year, we was getting our red BMW E30 for an international trip – but this time, we was heading towards the green Highlands of Scotland!

Waiting for a ferry. Thee hour power nap in it. But before hiting the road to Hamburg, we was ready for the next day. Day two started at the beach of Fredrikshavn.

Here is a short summary of day two – our road from Frederikshavn to Hamburg. It was a long day with many beautiful places to stop by.

We’ve started day three in Hamburg, which was amazing. We’ve really enjoyed the Speicherstadt! Afterward, we hit the road through North Germany and the Netherlands – visiting some random places, finishing in Amsterdam.

One of the trip highlights was to pay a visit to VINK Motorsport while we were in Amsterdam. We’ve meet up with Ton and spent a few long hours at his garage. The passion and experience that he gave us were extraordinary. Ton Vink is a living legend when it comes to BMW and motorsport.

On day five we drove from the port in Harwich all up to Scotland. It was our longest run – from the early morning to midnight. And yes, it was a bit hard. We stopped by a few places and went for a walk to enjoy things not discovered by the car.

We started the North Coast, from the east side. The plan was to drive through it, but we couldn’t resist the temptation to stop a few times. Then traveling through the west side and down.

Thank you, everyone, for following us through the trip. There are more stories to be told, more photos to be showed and more places to be mentioned.
