work of art
The E9 was the base for the first two BMW Art Cars; the first was painted by Alexander Calder and the second by Frank Stella. For sure, it’s one of the gorgeous two-doors sports coupes in the world, perfectly meshing golden-era BMW engineering with a minimalistic design.
A history above
All from road cars, manual and automatic. Without the E9, we wouldn’t have the BMW M. The famous Coupe Sport Light version is worth a fortune. Talking about the foundation of Art Cars, Motorsport, Alpina, etc. This car made it from A to Z. They even produced an Hommage edition of it.
A fantastic car and true proof that BMW has a long tradition of building ultimate driving machines that combine design and driving pleasure. There are probably not many who would have said no to one of these.
